You cannot pack a place. You pack the pieces that prove it was real.

Before the goodbye, before the road, there was one small suitcase open on a bed in rural Puebla. This is where Frida's story starts: deciding what comes and what stays. The clothes were easy. What took time were the other things. A framed family photo. A recipe card in her mother's handwriting, the ink gone soft at the corners. And one glass bottle of Tehuacán, packed between the sweaters.

That bottle is not just water to her. It is home in glass. It rose from the springs of the Tehuacán Valley, where the water spends roughly eight years working its way through volcanic rock, picking up its minerals and its fine bubble the slow way. The people of the valley have been drinking it for generations. Frida grew up with it on the table.

Everything else is just luggage.
